I take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Nischal Raj Dawadi. I am an Entrepreneur, an independent research cum management consultant and a Management Trainer  / Coach. I have a wide variety of knowledge and I am particularly interested in defining value and creating values.  I have wide varieties of experiences and strengths to conduct Key Informant Interviews, Focus Group Discussions. I have more than 7 years’ of experience in research and I started my professional career on 2015, I have worked with various independent firms in the field of qualitative and quantitative research, data generation and other field of assignment involving consulting services. I am a self-starter and it has always been my core strength. With the capacity of working with the team or leading the team, I am technically capable of writing proposals, designing samples and questionnaires for the qualitative/quantitative studies, analyzing data and preparing reports (with infographics if needed). I am able to handle the entire research project from proposal writing, liasoning, survey questionnaire designing, data gathering, data analysis and report writing on my own. 

In 2017, I undertook a research activity for the National Cooperative Board (NCB) working under Biruwa Advisors Pvt. Ltd as a senior research / business consultant. As a research / business consultant, I conducted the field and phone interviews of ore than 100 Board of Directors from Nepal Cooperative Associations from 25 districts in Nepal. This qualitative study sought to measure the feasibility of opening an Agri-based Market by developing a prmotional centre at two districts i.e. Chitwan and Kahtmandu. The study focused on areas of Logistics, Supply-Chain Management, Delivery System, Management and Promotion of the locally grown agri-products from the retail space. I was responsibile for developing and finalizing questionnaire, designing the sample and the protocols, undertaking FGDs and KIIs, analyzing the interview transcripts, and preparing the report.

In 2018/19, I worked as an external consultant for Biruwa Advisors Pvt. Ltd for the UNCDF supported Financial Inclusion Practice, the Access to Finance (A2F), and Mobile Money for Poor (MM4P) in partnership with the UNNATI Access to Finance program in Nepal. The project encouraged financial service providers to serve the agricultural value chain actors more effectively with appropriate financial products. The consultant was involved in the end-line study of the project. The consultant used Business Diagnostic Tools as a survey measure and conducted Key Informant Interview with the owner of 18 business enterprises located in the eastern part of Nepal i.e. Sankhusabha, Dhankuta, Terathum, and Bhojpur. I was responsible for designing and finalizing the questionnaire, designing the sample and the protocols, undertaking pre-test, administering the interviews, data cleaning and analyzing, developing trainings, conducting trainings and preparing reports in English and Nepali format.

As an external translation Consultant for Inter Disciplinary Analysts, I have transcribed/translated more than 100 FGD’s, Longitudinal Surveys, and KIIs. I am still working for IDA as a translator on an intermittent basis. I also possesses past experiences of working at the capacity of Short-Term External Consultant and has served for 4 months in the field of expert opinion gathering in preparation for the research questionnaire and survey techniques. I have high proficiency over language and computersand have involved in various other fields of academic research, I have been supervising Under-Graduate and Postgraduate students with their final year Project Management thesis.

I am trying to create a knowledge based collaboration system aligning businesses and business personality with varied visions. I am open for collaboration with all interest groups working in this faculty of Value Analysis and Value Delivery particularly in Nepalese context and have worked / facilitated more than than 50 Entrepreneurs, Business houses and Management Education Providers and have delivered and shared my knowledge's regarding Value Engineering and Value Analysis. I am directed toward streamlining channels for Value Delivery and I am open for partnership and collaboration with various organizations on projects of similar interest.
